Job Description:
Activus Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Lorry Driver for a permanent position with our client, an independent steel stockholder and general merchant based in Oldmeldrum. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of steel and building materials to customers across the North East of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver steel and merchant goods

*

Load and unload materials safely at customer sites

*

Complete vehicle checks and report any defects

*

Ensure deliveries are made on time and in line with customer expectations

*

Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records

*

Follow all driving regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

*

Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence

*

Previous experience in a similar role (experience with steel or construction materials preferred)

*

Good knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices

*

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

*

HIAB licence (desirable but not essential)

Salary is dependent on experience.
