Job Description:
Activus Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator on behalf of our client, an independent steel stockholder and general merchant based in Oldmeldrum. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability within a busy fabrication environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in welding and fabrication, be confident reading from technical drawings, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding

*

Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

*

Cut, bend, and assemble metal components using hand tools and workshop machinery

*

Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

*

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a welding/fabrication role

*

Ability to work from technical drawings

*

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

*

Relevant welding certifications (preferred)

*

Full UK driving licence (desirable due to location)

Salary is dependent on experience.
