Job Title: Stick Welder
📍 Location: Wallsend
🕒 Hours: 39 Hours/Week + Overtime Available (1.5x basic)
🌙 Nightshift: Average 1 in 4 Weeks (Paid at 1.7x Basic Rate)

Join a leading specialist in offshore transport solutions supporting the oil & gas industry.
We are currently looking for an experienced Stick Welder to join the 'Hotworks' team of one of the best known companies in the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical sea fastening structures and cable reels used in the safe transport of high-value cabling for offshore projects.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

*

Perform high-quality stick welding on sea fastening brackets and steel cable reels

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Work to tight tolerances and safety-critical specifications

*

Contribute to a high-standard, safety-focused environment

*

Participate in a nightshift rota ( Average 1 week in 4) – paid at 1.7x basic hourly rate

✅ What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience in stick welding (MMA)

*

Previous work on offshore transport equipment or similar is highly desirable

*

Ability to work from technical drawings

*

A strong commitment to health & safety

*

Flexible with working overtime and nightshifts when required

💰 What You’ll Get:

*

Competitive hourly rate £16.96 per hour + overtime

*

Nightshift premium: 1.7x basic

*

Ongoing work with a long-term project pipeline

*

Opportunity to work on high-profile offshore projects
