Warehouse Operative – Full-Time

Location: Hinxton Salary: £23,800 (without forklift licence) / £25,000 (with forklift licence)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join their busy and friendly team. This is a hands-on role reporting to the Warehouse Manager and involves a variety of warehouse duties including order preparation, stock control, and supporting inbound and outbound deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
Labelling orders accurately
Operating and maintaining a paint mixing machine (training provided)
Replenishing warehouse stock as required
Participating in stocktakes and routine stock checks
Assisting with incoming deliveries (goods-in)
Manual handling, including some heavy lifting
Loading and unloading deliveries
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Working collaboratively as part of a warehouse team

Requirements:

A good level of physical fitness (manual handling is required)
A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
A valid forklift licence is a bonus and reflected in salary
