Description

Our client is a respected and growing facilities management organisation seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery and performance of multiple service contracts. This is a key position responsible for ensuring operational excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction across a varied portfolio.

You'll play a central role in managing day-to-day contract operations, leading teams, ensuring compliance, and driving service improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take ownership of significant FM contracts within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of service contracts, including mobilisation, in-life performance, change management, and renewals.

Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations, SLAs/KPIs, and health & safety standards.

Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying opportunities for service improvements and cost efficiencies.

Take commercial ownership of contracts, including budgeting, cost control, P&L responsibility, and variation management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the key point of contact for all operational and contractual matters.

Manage and support internal teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including health & safety requirements.

Lead on the mobilisation of new contracts to ensure a smooth transition and strong client engagement from day one.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the facilities management sector (hard or soft services).

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial performance.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of FM service delivery models, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.

Experience managing multi-site operations and coordinating teams.

Relevant qualifications in FM, Engineering, or Business advantageous; H&S qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH) preferred.
