Job: Machine Operator

* Location: Westbury, Wiltshire

* Pay: £538.15pw

* Contract: Permanent

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery within a production environment. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.

Duties:

* Operate and monitor machinery

* Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for machining operations while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as required.

* Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.

To be considered you will need:

* Proven experience in machine operation, preferably within a manufacturing / production / factory setting.

* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery and processes.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and have basic mathematical skills.

* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Must work well within a team and contribute effectively to the smooth running of daily operations

* To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to do some heavy lifting

Hours: Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern – candidates must be able to work all three:

* 6am to 2pm (6am to 11.30am on Friday)

* 2pm to 10pm (11.30am to 5pm on Friday)

* 10pm to 6am (5pm to 10.30pm on Friday)

The shifts do not disrupt weekends, but you MUST be able to cover all shifts.
