TEST ENGINEER (RF)

We are pioneers in RF spectrum monitoring and geolocation systems — trusted worldwide by defence, intelligence, and security organisations. We’re looking for a Test Engineer (RF) to join our Systems Engineering team, taking responsibility for validating our next-generation RF hardware and integrated systems across lab and field environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role at the heart of our mission: ensuring that every product we deliver meets the highest standards of performance, quality, and reliability before it reaches our customers on the front line. You’ll collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, and Production teams to bring precision, rigour, and innovation to every test campaign.

What you’ll be doing Hardware Testing & Validation

Design, execute, and refine test plans for RF hardware, sub-systems, and full system integrations.
Perform functional, performance, and stress testing across frequency ranges up to 40 GHz.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and test software to measure, log, and analyse RF performance data.
Develop automated test systems to accelerate production validation and regression cycles.Field Testing

Deploy and evaluate CRFS systems in real-world environments — from test ranges to live field trials.
Capture and interpret data to identify signal anomalies, environmental effects, and performance trends.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in situ.Documentation & Reporting

Produce clear, detailed test documentation, procedures, and results reports.
Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and recommend design or process improvements.
Maintain meticulous test records to support certification, compliance, and traceability.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with hardware and software engineers to align test coverage with design intent.
Drive best practices in validation, automation, and test infrastructure.
Stay current with evolving RF test technologies, tools, and industry standards (IEEE, ISO, MIL-STD, DEF-STAN).What you’ll bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in RF or hardware test engineering — ideally within defence, aerospace, or communications systems.
Hands-on expertise with test and measurement equipment such as spectrum analysers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
Experience scripting in Python or C/C++ for automation and data processing.
Strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex RF behaviour.
Excellent communication skills — capable of translating technical findings into actionable insights.
A methodical, detail-oriented approach with a passion for continuous improvement
