Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Workshop Fitters to work in their leading facility near Oswestry.

For the successful Workshop Fitters, our client is offering:

Competitive salary paying up to £33,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday (Days 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays)
Permanent vacancies within a expanding business
Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours.
The Role - Workshop Fitters:

Fitting of a variety of products onto a variety of Trucks
Hydraulics work
Working from engineering drawings
Use of hand and power tools
Carrying out necessary repairs where required
Carrying out installation work (Fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons)
Wiring
Installing cranes on to the back's of Wagons
Bolting up
What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter:

Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience - ESSENTIAL
Good Engineering knowledge
Knowledge of Hydraulics
Experienced working from engineering drawing - ESSENTIAL
Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous.
Key Skills or Similar Job Titles to the Mechanical Assembler:

HGV Fitter, Workshop Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Fitter, Mechanic, Workshop Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Bodybuilder, Coachbuilder, Fabricator

The Workshop Fitters position is Commutable from:

Oswestry, Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Telford, Chester, Shropshire, North Wales, Powys, Cheshire, Prees
