MFL Teacher

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled MFL Teacher to join a high-achieving and supportive secondary school in the beautiful market town of Cirencester, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and forward-thinking school community. The role is expected to run for one term, starting in January 2026, with potential for extension.

Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (one term)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and inclusive MFL lessons across Key Stages
Teach one or more of the following languages up to GCSE level:
French
Spanish
German
Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious MFL department
Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environmentIdeal Candidate

Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in one or more modern foreign languages
Experience teaching MFL up to GCSE level
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
Passionate about language learning and cultural awareness
Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
