Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic Main dealer team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through to service completion. Your mechanical knowledge will enable you to provide accurate information about vehicle maintenance and repair options, while your exceptional customer service skills will help build lasting relationships with our clients.
Salary £28500 plus bonus equating to a Ote of £33000 uncapped
Monday - Friday 8 - 6
Every other Saturday mornings 08.30 - 12.30
Full driving licence and Motor trade experience required
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
* Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required, utilising your mechanical knowledge to answer any technical questions.
* Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance and longevity.
* Process customer payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
* Maintain clear and open communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on progress and any changes in service requirements.
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards.
* Keep accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and follow-up recommendations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a customer service role, within the automotive industry.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
* Excellent upselling skills with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
