General Operative (with Industrial First Aid Certification)

Valid Industrial First Aid Certificate must be provided.

This vacancy may suit someone currently working Mon-Fri who is looking for regular additional hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site First Aid cover within a manufacturing facility. In addition, the General Operative will support production activities as required, including movement of materials, use of basic tooling, and maintaining housekeeping standards such as dust control and general cleaning.

* Act as designated First Aider during working hours, responding to incidents and providing initial care in line with Industrial First Aid training.

* Ensure valid Industrial First Aid Certificate is presented prior to commencing role and maintained throughout employment.

* Support production activities, including:
- Moving and handling of materials and equipment (dependent on capability).
- Assisting with basic tooling and production tasks within capability and training.
- General cleaning, dust control, and maintaining safe working areas.

* Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements (disposable coveralls, safety boots and safety glasses), and company policies at all times.

* Work flexibly across shifts, weekends, and overtime to align with operational requirements.

* Report hazards, near misses, and incidents to supervisors promptly
