Humly is recruiting an experienced Year 3/4 Class Teacher on behalf of a primary school in Nelson. This role will start in November 2025 and run initially until Christmas, with a view to continue until the summer term and then move onto contract.

The school is specifically seeking an experienced teacher and will not be able to consider Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

What You’ll Be Doing

*

Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 3/4 curriculum

*

Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to make progress and achieve their goals

*

Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

*

Working closely with colleagues and leadership to ensure continuity and consistency

What You’ll Bring

*

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with recent KS2 teaching experience

*

A proven track record of teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Years 3 and 4

*

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

*

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) and two suitable references

Daily rate: £140 rising to £202.85 (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay, dependent on experience and AWR after 12 weeks)

Pay up to M4 scale depending on experience
