TeamJobs are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our client's team, contributing to the delivery of innovative, high-quality software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

Pay Rate: £45 - £60 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Motherwell, Lanarkshire

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver software solutions to recognised industry standards.
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team using various tools and programming languages.
Take ownership of your work and contribute to the mentoring and technical support of junior team members.
Lead assurance and review activities, ensuring documentation, configuration, and release procedures meet required standards.
Translate customer requirements into robust software designs, implement and test code, and manage integration, release, and deployment processes.

Essential Experience & Skills

Background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related discipline.
Proficiency or strong knowledge in PLC programming.
Experience or working knowledge of SCADA systems.
Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude in a team-oriented environment.Please note that a drug screening is required as part of the pre-employment process.
