Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Longfield, Kent
Salary: £26,354 – £29,053 per annum (Actual), depending on experience (£29,146 – £32,130 FTE)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 3 weeks inset (part-time hours available)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people with a wide range of communication needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in an inclusive and forward-thinking educational environment.

The Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

Deliver high-quality therapy interventions to support pupils with speech, language, and communication difficulties.

*

Work closely with teaching staff, support staff, and families to ensure strategies are effectively embedded in the classroom and at home.

*

Carry out assessments, create tailored therapy plans, and monitor progress.

*

Provide training, advice, and guidance to colleagues to help create a communication-friendly environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

*

Is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered or working towards registration).

*

Has experience working with children and young people with communication needs.

*

Brings a collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach.

*

Is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils and their families.
