About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, an exciting and dynamic organisation specialising in energy and sustainability technology. They support their customers in accelerating their Net Zero journey to provide a cleaner, more sustainable future for all.

We are presenting a fantastic new opportunity for a tech-savvy, customer centric Sales Development Representative to join the Sales team in Leamington Spa. Acting as the custodians of the sales pipeline, you'll ensure data accuracy, manage lead flow, and support Business Development Directors (BDDs) in staying focused on high-value opportunities. This is an exciting chance to join a business that is disrupting an outdated industry and play a pivotal role in keeping the sales engine running smoothly.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, accurate, and segmented CRM system.
Monitor BDD pipelines to ensure workloads remain balanced
Route and time the delivery of leads to the right person.
Track and follow up on campaign-generated leads in collaboration with marketing.
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Cognism to re-engage and nurture warm leads.
Support BDDs with accountability on follow-ups and pipeline management.
Enrich data with case studies, insights, and tailored outreach for softer sales approaches.
Produce reports on lead activity, response times, and CRM health metrics.The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a CRM, sales support, customer service, or marketing operations role - or a strong interest in moving into sales.
High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confidence using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
A proactive, curious mindset — happy to ask questions, think creatively, and suggest improvements.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Cognism (desirable, not essential).
Background in energy, SaaS, tech, or sustainability (advantageous but not required).Benefits

In return we are offering:

A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus potential bonus.
Hybrid working model. Office-based in Leamington 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fixed).
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
