Are you looking for temporary, flexible part-time work in Northwich, Winsford, Sandbach or Crewe?

Considering a future in secondary teaching and eager to gain valuable classroom experience?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in a range of local secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain first-hand school experience before pursuing a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.

Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification but all applications will be considered.

A fully enhanced DBS will be required.

The Role Includes:

Leading the classroom in the teacher's absence
Delivering pre-prepared lessons
Maintaining classroom engagement and behaviour
Managing handover and reporting back to the regular teacher
No marking or planning requiredIdeal for Candidates with Experience in:

Sports coaching
Youth work
Drama, Art, or Music workshops
Summer camps or holiday clubs
Scouts/Guides/Cubs/Brownies
Outdoor activity instruction / Duke of Edinburgh Award
Any experience working with young people (minimum 2 months)Why Join Academics?
