Credit Controller - Temporary (Potential to Go Permanent)

📍 Location: Southend-on-Sea
💷 Pay: £13 per hour
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
📅 Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next opportunity in Southend?

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
Reconciling customer accounts
Managing aged debt reports
Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activity

Requirements

Previous experience in a credit control or finance role
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
