Conrad Consulting is recruiting for a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join a long-established, award-winning architectural practice based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

With over 50 years of architectural excellence and a team known for delivering high-quality design and technical solutions, this is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across the Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, and Community sectors.

Due to a sustained increase in workload, the practice is expanding and now offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their collaborative team. The role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering well-detailed, buildable architecture.

Currently renovating and revamping their studio, which will have a new and fresh outlook due to be reopened before Christmas

Hybrid working available after 3-month probation (3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Role Overview:

As an Architectural Technologist, you'll be involved in the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages. You'll produce detailed construction drawings, liaise with consultants and contractors, and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations. While this is not a job-running role, prior experience in leading or coordinating projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction detailing

Contribute to the design and delivery of projects across varied sectors

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors as needed

Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards

Collaborate with architects and junior team members to meet project goals

Required Skills & Experience:

Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification

Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience

Experience across Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, and Community projects

Proficiency in Revit is essential; AutoCAD required; SketchUp knowledge advantageous

Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations

Desirable: Experience in job-running or project coordination

Strong communication and organisational skills

Competitive salary of £40,000-£46,000, depending on experience
