Role profile:

The Contract Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day tasks related to contract administration within the Procurement department. This role includes overseeing contract processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating closely with the Legal Department for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts to support procurement activities.

Manages contract values within budget and contributes to cost-saving initiatives.
Oversees contract lifecycles to improve workflow efficiency and compliance, supporting procurement goals.
Handles various contract types with different complexity levels, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
Prepares and recommends contracts, negotiates terms with vendors, and escalates complex issues as needed.
Collaborates with internal teams like Procurement, Legal, and Finance; communicates with external vendors for contract clarity and compliance.
Role requirements:
Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial request through execution, amendments, and renewals.
Work closely with the Legal Department to facilitate contract drafting and ensure thorough legal reviews.
Ensure timely updates and maintenance of contract records in line with organizational requirements.
Act as the liaison between Procurement and Legal teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely contract processing.
Prepare initial drafts of standard contracts, NDAs, and other procurement-related documents as needed.
Assist in reviewing contract terms to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that all contracts meet company policy standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve contract processes, workflows, and templates.
Stay updated on best practices in contract management and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.Your background:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years in contract management, preferably within procurement or supply chain functions
