Manufacturing Operations Transformation Project Manager (223jc) – Henfield - £45 – 52k

This is an initial 6–12 month transformation project, with the potential to go permanent.

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Operations Transformation Project Manager who can help transform a busy manufacturing operation into a high-performance, structured, and efficient workplace. The role will suit someone with a military background who understands how to:

* Bring discipline and consistency to daily operations

* Lead teams with confidence and clarity

* Solve problems under pressure

* Drive continuous improvement while keeping morale high

What You’ll Be Doing

* Embedding robust, repeatable processes that keep production running smoothly

* Building team accountability and ownership of results

* Managing bottlenecks and reallocating resources quickly and effectively

* Developing emerging leaders through coaching and mentoring

* Driving efficiency to reduce costs and boost productivity

* Creating a culture where standards are high and people feel supported

What They are Looking For

* Proven people leadership and transformation skills

* Hands-on leadership, you’ll be visible on the shop floor, not behind a desk

* Experience in manufacturing is useful, but not essential. They are open to leaders from all backgrounds who know how to deliver results and build strong teams.

This is an opportunity to take on a transformation mission, make your mark, and potentially grow into a permanent role. If you’ve led teams through demanding situations, created order from chaos, and know how to deliver results while keeping your people on side, we want to hear from you.

This role would probably suit an NCO or SNCO who has worked in a production line environment, i.e. LAD or Aircraft Maintenance section or similar who is seeking to translate their military experience into a commercial environment.

In this role you will be reporting to the Production Manager and CEO who will give you a mandate and support you to make meaningful and lasting change to team.
