Logistics Planner/ Logistics Coordinator – Join P&O Ferrymasters and become part of a highly skilled and professional team of experienced customer service and transport specialists, delivering excellent service to our customers from our Newport, Pembrokeshire office on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your role:

As the successful Logistics Planner / Logistics Coordinator, you will report to the Operations Supervisor, supporting the smooth day-to-day management of our customers’ contracts and ensuring that collection and delivery expectations are met accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and update bookings, ensuring all key personnel are informed of any changes.
Coordinate with Asset and Charter contacts to deliver optimal service.
Assist with activities such as customs clearance and standkit transitions.
Gather and compile information for weekly and monthly KPIs, reporting findings to the line manager.
Collaborate with P&OFM staff at other sites to enhance customer efficiency.
Maintain daily professional communication with customer personnel.

About you:

We are seeking a Logistics Planner / Coordinator with experience in customer-focused operational roles, who possesses strong communication skills, confident in using computers and the ability to build effective working relationships. You will need excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workloads efficiently. Experience in transport/ logistics and Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage; we are open to candidates with transferable skills from a role where you are used to working to multiple timelines and tasks. You must have a creative problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn quickly on the job. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role to get on site.

The role offers a salary of £26,000–£30,000 per year (depending on experience), based on a full-time, 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.
