Long-term Humanities Teacher

Mixed Secondary School, Southend-on-Sea

£160 - £250 per day (Dependent on MPS/UPS)

The School and Role

This 11-16 mixed secondary school in Southend-on-Sea are seeking a qualified Humanities Teacher to teach Geography and History on a long-term basis from November. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired long-term Humanities Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to KS3-KS4 students. As a long-term Humanities Teacher, you will be involved in staff development, training and wellbeing.

With free on-site parking, this role is ideal for Humanities Teachers with a full UK driver’s licence in the Southend-on-Sea area. This friendly school can offer excellent CPD opportunities for a long-term Humanities Teacher who is looking for a dynamic teaching role, working in a brand-new school site with state-of-the-art classrooms and facilities. Requirements

The desired Long-term Humanities Teacher will have;

Experience of working in a Secondary School as a History or Geography Teacher
Knowledge of UK Curriculum and the ability to teach students how to problem-solve
Resilience, determination and a passion for your subject
PGCE with QTS and right to work in the UK
Suitable for Humanities ECT’s!
