Secondary Teaching Assistant - Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Tradewind are offering the opportunity for an enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant (KS3/4) to join an inspiring partnership in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, where specialist and mainstream education combine and collaborate to create an inclusive, engaging and positive learning environment.

Secondary Teaching Assistant

Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support Special Educational Needs (SEN), SEMH and diverse needs for learning
Encourage confidence, independence and engagement with learning
Work alongside school staff, parents and specialists to deliver tailored support plans

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting Secondary School pupils
Extensive knowledge of SEN/SEMH (desirable)
Excellent communication skills and patience
A genuine passion for creating an inclusive learning environment
Flexibility and a proactive approach to classroom support
Enhanced DBS Checked (or happy to apply)
A full employment/education history
Located or reliably commutable to Amersham, Buckinghamshire
