Description

Desian Education is currently recruiting a motivated and skilled KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bromborough. This long-term role is due to start after the October half-term break and will run through to the end of the academic year.

The school is seeking additional support across two Year 6 classes, focusing on delivering targeted academic intervention in Maths and English as pupils prepare for their SATs examinations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at a crucial stage in the pupils’ education.

This is a part-time role supporting 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Wednesday.

Role Responsibilities

* Work with small groups of Year 6 pupils to deliver focused interventions in Maths and English

* Support the class teachers with preparation and delivery of learning resources

* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

* Help build confidence and motivation in pupils working towards their SATs

* Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment

What You Will Need

* Experience supporting KS2 learners, ideally in Year 6

* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English

* Confidence in leading small group interventions

* A proactive and adaptable approach to learning support

* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
