Description

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver with a Hiab license to join our busy branch team. You will be responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of building materials to our customers, providing outstanding service on every delivery.

Hours are 45 per week with alternate Saturdays - 6:30am till 4pm

Salary is £33,500 per annum this role is temp to perm 10 weeks through Manpower and then you will be taken on permanent

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with Hiab equipment for the loading, transporting, and unloading of goods.
Carry out multi-drop deliveries to trade and domestic customers.
Ensure goods are delivered in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain driver records in line with legal requirements.
Assist in the yard/warehouse as required, supporting the wider branch team.
Uphold MKM's strong reputation for customer service by being helpful, polite, and professional at all times.

Skills & Experience Required

Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Hiab licence with proven experience operating lorry-mounted cranes.
Valid CPC and Digi Card.
Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role, ideally within the builder's merchant or construction sector.
Strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy branch environment.
