Criminology Teacher - September 2020 - Full-time - School Based in Ilford - 1 year fixed contract

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Criminology Teacher to join a thriving and upcoming school based in Ilford. This is a one fixed contract and has the chance of being permanent for the right candidate.

Previous experienced is preferred however, NQT's will be happily welcomed as the have a great supportive system. Good / strong behaviour management is also a priority. Sociology Teachers with have also had experiencing teaching Criminology will be welcomed.

About the role - you will be required to teach Criminology up to A-levels students for 3 days and for the other 2 days you will required for general cover for all key stages 3, 4 and 5.

This is a medium size mix sex school. This school prides themselves on creating a positive and respectful learning environment. It also offers extra free training in school, CPD training is also taking place where staff can get involved.

CRIMINOLOGY TEACHING INFORMATION:
* The position is open to both Criminology NQT's and experienced Criminology teachers.

CRIMINOLOGY TEACHERS EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
QTS or equivalent
PGCE / SCITT / TEACH FIRST
Criminology / Sociology related degree
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide you with this training)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS CRIMINOLOGY TEACHING JOB THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
