Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Carmarthen

Salary: £410.70- £450.00 per week

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with the skills and resilience to support high-level behavioural needs? We are working with a fantastic primary school in Carmarthen seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a Reception pupil who requires consistent and positive behaviour support. This post has the potential to be very long-term for the right person, offering security and the chance to build a lasting impact.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing learning environment and helping every child reach their potential. The ideal candidate will:

Have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant managing challenging behaviour in early years or primary settings
Use calm, consistent, and positive behaviour strategies
Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and the pupil
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
