Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: Keighley
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £90 - £95 per day
The Education Network are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEND school in Keighley. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant you will work closely with class teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support, helping pupils access learning, develop life skills, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs
Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required
Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and therapeutic interventionsWhat We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly complex needs
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and a willingness to learn
