Quality Inspector

Location: Sandwich

Permanent

We're looking for a hands-on Quality Inspector to join our team in Sandwich. In this role, you'll be checking incoming materials, components, and parts to make sure everything meets our high standards before it hits production. You'll play a key part in keeping our products top quality and making sure everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Inspecting parts and materials to ensure they match specifications and drawings.
Logging your findings and keeping records up to date.
Managing stock in the inspection process and dealing with anything that doesn't meet the mark.
Keeping your inspection tools in good condition and calibrated correctly.
Working closely with other teams to keep things moving efficiently.
Covering for colleagues during busy periods if needed.

What We're Looking For:

NVQ/HNC/HND or similar in an engineering-related field.
At least 2 years' experience in a quality or inspection role.
Comfortable using tools like micrometres, callipers, and gauges.
Able to read and understand technical drawings.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage your time effectively.
Ideally some experience with mechanical or electronic components.
