Production Operative – 12 Month FTC (Day Shifts)

We are seeking a motivated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing company on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Felixstowe.

The Role:

* Operate and monitor key production processes to ensure output is achieved safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

* Carry out equipment preparation, cleaning, and routine checks.

* Load and monitor bulk materials and tankers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.

* Record and report operational data, troubleshoot issues, and support maintenance as required.

* Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards at all times.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

* Initial day shift, Monday to Friday - 05:45 – 14:15

* After 1 year fixed Term Contract this role could progress to full shift rota - 2 days, 2 nights, 6 off / 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (£44,820 for shifts).

* Salary: £36,051 (day shift) moving to £44,820 (full shift rota).

About You:

* Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a pressurised environment.

* Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and clear communication skills.

* Computer literate with confidence in record keeping and following procedures.

This is a demanding but rewarding role in a fast-paced environment, offering the potential for contract extension or a permanent position
