Electronics Test Engineer – Wiltshire
Location: Collingbourne Ducis
Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9 am – 5:30 pm, Fridays 9 am – 2 pm
Reporting to: Applications Manager
**About the Company:**
Our client, located in Wiltshire, specialises in designing and manufacturing replacements for End-of-Life (EOL) and obsolete electronic components for a diverse global clientele. To support their operations, they are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer who will be dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components through thorough testing and analysis. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in either the commercial, industrial, military or aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute test plans and procedures
* Perform electrical, functional, and physical testing
* Analyse and report results accurately
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
* Maintain and calibrate test equipment

Ideal Candidate:
* Background in electronics/electrical engineering
* Experience with test equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, microscopes)
* Familiarity with AS6171/AS6081 standards
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
* LabVIEW experience preferred, but similar packages considered
Equipment You'll Use:
Note: If not already trained on/using the following equipment, candidate must be willing to undergo training to use the following equipment.
* Curve Tracer, X-ray machines (2D & 3D), FTIR, Ramen Spectroscopy
* XRF, Acoustic Coupling, Acid Bath, Mechanical Decapsulation
