Are you a passionate educator with a flexible approach and a love for teaching? We're looking for a confident and reliable Secondary Cover Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

About the Role:

As a Cover Teacher, you'll step into a range of classrooms across different subjects, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across various departments, support students' progress, and be a vital part of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
Provide feedback to relevant staff on student progress and behaviour
Be a positive role model and contribute to the school ethosWhat We're Looking For:

A strong understanding of the UK secondary curriculum (KS3 & KS4)
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure
QTS or relevant teaching experience is desirable, but applications from experienced cover supervisors or unqualified teachers with strong classroom experience are also welcomeWorking for Prospero Teaching you can expect to receive the following: -
