Description

Garment Technologist (Permanent & Part-Time Opportunity) | Liverpool | £30,000 - £45,000 | Hyrbrid + Additional Benefits

Join a global fashion supplier powering the world's biggest retailers.

This brand doesn't just make clothes, it produces fashion at scale. Partnering with some of the most recognisable names in retail (think Inditex, Primark, Urban Outfitters, and more), they deliver trend-led, high-quality product at speed. With innovation and collaboration at the core, they're building a supply chain solution that's as agile as it is creative, right here in The North West!

Now, they're looking for two Garment Technologists to strengthen the team:

One permanent, full-time hire

One part-time hire (3 days per week)

Why this role matters to them:

You'll be at the centre of the product journey, the person who ensures a great design becomes an even greater garment. Fit, quality and precision are your world, and you'll collaborate with design, suppliers and production to make sure every piece meets the highest standard.

What you'll be doing:

Owning the fit process end-to-end: from development samples to sign-off for production.

Running fit sessions, measurements and approvals, ensuring garments are commercially ready and technically sound.

Partnering with design to balance creativity with technical integrity.

Working directly with suppliers to resolve technical challenges, improve quality and streamline processes.

Maintaining sample trackers, spec sheets and technical packs to keep development moving.

Overseeing fabric, trim and colour testing to guarantee compliance and performance.

Supporting and mentoring junior team members to grow expertise within the function.

Introducing and embedding best practices that create consistency, efficiency and scalability across the product lifecycle.

What we're looking for:

4+ years' experience as a Garment Technologist in a fast-paced, design-led environment.

Strong technical knowledge of fit, fabrics, grading, and garment construction.

Confidence in leading fit sessions, making key technical calls, and managing supplier relationships.

A natural collaborator who can work seamlessly with design, buying and production teams.

An eye for detail paired with a solutions-first mindset.

Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, balancing quality with speed to market.

Why join:

Work with some of the most influential retailers in the world.

Be part of a culture built on creativity, problem-solving and partnership.

Play a key role in shaping products that reach millions globally.

Flexible opportunities: full-time or part-time (3 days per week).
