PMLD SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a role as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant? Do you live local to Northwood?

Are you looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity where you can provide support and emotional care to others? Do you have previous experience as a carer or Support worker in the UK?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Secondary school working in the SEND department for challenging children with severe needs. This will be a full time role from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm. The school caters exclusively to SEND pupils for all through ages. This school has great pride in its inclusive, multi-sensory, and motivating approach to teaching.

The Role:

Provide 1-1 support to children with SEND as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant
As a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant you will need to assist children during their therapy sessions
Help prepare learning resources and activities as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant
Willing to support the needs of the students is essential to being a Secondary SEND Teaching AssistantRequirements:

Previous experience as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant in a SEND setting in the UK is Ideal
Experience doing personal care/willing to do personal care
Enhanced DBS is essential but we can help you process one if you do not have one currently
Excellent communication skills to engage with pupils effectively is vital as a Care Support WorkerWhy Register with Envision Education:
