About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely alongside experienced teachers and specialists to provide tailored support for pupils with Autism and SEMH. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

What You'll Do:

Support individual and small groups of pupils with Autism and SEMH in their learning and social development.
Help implement personalized learning plans and therapeutic interventions.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and resilience.
Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic care and support.
Contribute to a welcoming, calm, and structured classroom atmosphere.
Who You Are:

Compassionate, patient, and understanding, with a genuine love for working with young people.
Experience or interest in Autism and SEMH is highly valued (training will be provided).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible, proactive, and keen to learn new strategies and approaches.
