Our client based in Elsham, Brigg is a well-established business that provides packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA to join their team as soon as possible!

This is a permanent opportunity, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 2 days, followed by 2 nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am), with average weekly contractual hours of 42 per week.

The basic annual salary for the role is £29,331 per annum, with the opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates. The company also offers a quarterly Gainshare scheme, up to 5%.

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the factory Quality System as directed by the Quality Manager.

Duties will include:

· Carry out internal Quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5's, hygiene, glass and Insects audits
· Supervise quality records and retained samples
· Organize materials in quarantine, maintain records, and notify relevant personnel
· Control of positive release
· Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations
· Perform product inspection / testing for:
- Materials in Quarantine
- New materials / development
- Others as directed
And report results to Quality and Technical Manager
· Input non - conforming material information on to the computer for reporting purposes
· QA Administration work as assigned
· Other projects as assigned including WCM

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality (ideally within a manufacturing environment) and will be able to demonstrate this within their work experience.
