Sales Executive

Location: Verwood

Salary: £30,000 per annum Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 09.00am-17.00pm

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and relationship building, who is looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will manage inbound sales calls, emails, and website leads while also proactively generating new business through outbound sales activity and networking. You will play a key part in growing the customer base and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:

Respond promptly to inbound sales calls, emails, and website enquiries, converting them into opportunities.
Proactively identify and approach potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and networking.
Develop and deliver a structured outreach plan to create a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Research, qualify, and target new prospects to expand the customer base.
Track and analyse outreach and conversion metrics to improve sales effectiveness.
Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, spotting opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
Provide tailored advice and solutions to meet customer needs.
Follow up on leads to maximise sales potential.
Collaborate with management teams regularly to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Stay up to date with product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends.
Ensure all leads and RFQs are answered promptly and professionally.
Be available for occasional travel to meet and visit customers.
What we're looking for in the Sales Executive:

Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, ideally managing both inbound and outbound activity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Experience in brokering and upselling products or services.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Results-oriented and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Confident using Microsoft Office and able to learn in-house software.
A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to develop and grow.
