Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 17:00–05:00 (occasional Saturday overtime)
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking logistics company that specialises in distribution, warehousing, and contract logistics. With a strong focus on sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence, this company is a recognised leader in its field.

They are currently seeking a Control Tower Supervisor to oversee their night-time delivery operations across the UK. This is a key role within the Transport operation, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient transport execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor night-time transport operations, ensuring deliveries meet performance and compliance standards.
Lead and support a team of drivers, addressing performance issues and ensuring alignment with planning expectations.
Oversee driver hours, vehicle defects, and infringements in line with transport regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams including compliance and contract management to maintain high standards.
Use operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with drivers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain service quality.Ideal Candidate Profile

Previous experience in transport or logistics operations, ideally within a night shift environment.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Confident communicator, especially over the phone.
Knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations.
Proactive and solutions-focused, with a passion for operational excellence.Interested?
