Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

📍 Warminster, Wiltshire

💷 £40,000–£45,000 + Benefits

What You’ll Do

Work as Deputy Manager alongside the Registered Manager to provide strong leadership.

Lead and support a dedicated care team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care.

*

Mentor and supervise staff, ensuring every team member thrives under your guidance as Deputy Manager.

*

Deputise for the Registered Manager, including on-call duties and chairing meetings.

*

Take ownership of safeguarding, compliance, care planning, and professional record-keeping.

*

Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers, and schools.

*

Support with rotas, budgets, reports, and audits, acting as Deputy Manager who keeps the home running smoothly.

*

Champion a safe, inclusive, and aspirational culture within the home.

What We’re Looking For

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

*

Experience supervising staff in a children’s residential setting.

*

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and Ofsted standards.

*

A confident leader with excellent communication skills.

*

Flexibility for on-call and shift work.

*

Driving licence (preferred).
