Support Worker - Stainton Court

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for acaring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Stainton Court, a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities in Bushey.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. You will work closely with each individual to:

Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goalsYou’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion.

About you:

We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

You will also need to:

Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
Work well as part of a team and independently
Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for workWe will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.

Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year, including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service
£12,930 for an 18.75 hour a week contract (£13.26 per hour)
