Bank Specialist Radiographer | Competitive Hourly Rate | Flexible Working | Harpenden

Spire Harpenden are looking for an experienced Radiographer to join the Bank Imaging Team, this will suit a candidate who is looking for a more work/life balance.

Job Purpose

To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients within the radiographic department and to undertake a role in either plain film/Theatre/Fluoroscopy.
To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, managerial leadership and educational and development expertise.
Overall Responsibilities

* Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs.
* Develop practice in addressing patient's health and wellbeing needs.
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
* Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work and provide specialist education and teaching.
* Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
* Develop and improve services.
* Evaluate and improve quality.
* Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
* Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
* Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment
* Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Qualifications and Training

* Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent qualification)
* Post graduate qualification in specialism
* Evidence of post registration development in relevant specialist short courses at Master's level of study.
