HSEQ Advisor – Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Salary: Competitive (negotiable based on experience)

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to oversee the wellbeing of our team and ensure risks are effectively identified, assessed, and mitigated. This role is pivotal in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring our operations are compliant, safe, and efficient.
About the Role The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a similar position, with a thorough understanding of HSEQ principles and their practical application across a busy construction environment. You’ll work closely with colleagues, contractors, and site managers to maintain and continuously improve our health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Champion a positive HSEQ culture, supporting the HSEQ Lead to review, refine, and implement company procedures.
Provide expert advice and guidance on best practice, ensuring all employees take ownership of HSEQ compliance.
Conduct hazard identification for new contracts and collaborate with project teams to establish robust safety measures.
Assist in the creation of HSEQ management plans and risk assessments, ensuring compliance through weekly site inspections.
Keep accurate records of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, while coordinating employee training on HSEQ matters.
Prepare quarterly HSEQ performance reports and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities and industry bodies.Qualifications & Experience
Valid CSCS card (essential).
NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
IOSH membership (desirable).
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Understanding of civil works and construction processes (desirable).Why Join Us?
