Experienced Loading Shovel Driver/Plant operator - IMMEDIATE START

Covering holiday and sickness - ad-hoc role

Forklift License is a bonus

Monday to Friday - 07.00 - 5pm

£14.62 ph

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Loading Shovel & 360 Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loading Shovel Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Loading Shovels to perform various tasks in a busy, fast paced recycling yard.

Duties

Operate Loading Shovel
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating heavy machinery
Valid commercial driving license with experience
Proficiency in operating loading shovels and excavators
Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction and excavation environments
Previous experience in a similar role or related field is preferredYou will be responsible for assisting the yard supervisor with the general running of the yard which will include:
Enforcing Health and safety.
Loading/unloading vehicles.
Organising traffic.
Keeping the production line running.
Covering breaks

CPCS license required
