We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a well-established nursery in Greenwich, rated “Good” by Ofsted. This role involves supporting the nursery team in the day-to-day running of the room, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years to play, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure high standards of care, safety, and welfare for all children
Act as a key person for allocated children, planning, observing, and assessing their development
Build strong partnerships with parents to support children’s learning and progress
Create an enabling environment with engaging activities tailored to individual needs
Manage children’s behaviour positively and promote independence
Support mealtimes, personal care, and hygiene routines
Conduct risk assessments and uphold safeguarding protocols
Participate in staff meetings, training, parents’ evenings, and nursery events What We’re Looking For:

A minimum Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and statutory requirements
Experience working with children aged 2-5 (preferred)
Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification and safeguarding certificate (preferred)
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
Creative, enthusiastic, caring, and committed to child development
Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to learning and growth Why Join Us?
