Our client based in Stanford Le Hope are seeking a Transport Planner to join their fast growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, has a good head for logistics, and enjoys problem-solving on the go.

The working hours for this position are: Monday to Friday, 5:30PM to 11:00PM on a part time basis or Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 11:00PM on a permanent basis.

Management and planning daily distribution requirements for a fleet of HGV's and vans
Efficient control and allocation of resources and ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to.
Utilise drivers, vehicles, trailers and sub-contractors to collect and deliver all loads against specified collection and booking times, with effective driver de-brief.
Ensuring that their internal monitoring & tracking systems are organised and updated.
Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of fleet (including utilisation and costing)
Constantly communicate with Customer Service teams and Drivers to ensure customer KPI's and targets are achieved and maintained
Ensure compliance and health & safety in-line with the regulatory framework.If this role sounds suited to you, then please apply by submitting your CV
