📍 Location: East Midlands

Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with a passion for building operations and a drive to ensure critical infrastructure runs smoothly?

Our client, a leading organisation in the commercial property and facilities sector, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their growing Facilities Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, client-facing role where technical excellence meets real-world impact.

🔧 The Role

As an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, you will be responsible for:

* Overseeing and maintaining electrical systems across commercial, industrial, or public buildings.

* Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on LV/HV systems, lighting, emergency power, and building services.

* Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.

* Supporting energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives.

* Managing sub-contractors and liaising with clients to deliver top-tier service.

* Assisting in the planning and execution of electrical upgrades, refurbishments, and capital projects.

✅ About You

We’re looking for candidates with:

* A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND, BEng, or equivalent).

* 3+ years’ experience in building services or facilities management environments.

* Strong working knowledge of current IEE wiring regulations (18th Edition).

* Experience with BMS, UPS systems, and emergency lighting systems.

* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
