Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Term-time only, full-time/part-time considered

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school team in Pulborough. The successful candidate will support children with a range of special educational needs, working closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.

Assisting with individual education plans (IEPs).

Supporting social, emotional, and academic development.

Adapting resources and activities to suit pupils’ needs.

Promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Person Specification:

Experience working with children (essential).

SEN experience or training (desirable).

Patient, caring, and flexible approach.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
