Description

Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Dredging Training Specialist to join their Training Institute.

As a Dredging Training Specialist at the clients Training Institute, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technical and operational training to clients worldwide. You will train operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel who work with dredging systems on our vessels. You will work in a close-knit team that is periodically expanded to include other client colleagues. You will collaborate intensively with various colleagues and clients, often as part of the delivery process for a new vessel or during the onboarding of new crew members.

Training takes place at our shipyard in Kinderdijk, in our digital studio, or on-site with clients - both domestically and internationally. This means you will have extensive customer contact and play a key role in promoting our technical expertise.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

Developing and updating technical and operational training courses (primarily in English)
Providing classroom, digital, and simulator training
Conducting train-the-trainer programs at clients
Translating client inquiries into customized learning solutions
Providing demonstrations for clients and prospects
Ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional guidance

You will also be involved in the design and implementation of the annual General Dredging Course: an intensive program that provides participants with comprehensive training in the dredging field, from technology to strategy.
Your responsibilities

In this versatile role, your experience in the dredging industry will be put to good use. You don't need to be an experienced trainer: if you're technically strong, socially adept, and a natural communicator, we'll teach you the rest. What makes this job so interesting:

Working with the latest technologies in the dredging industry
International travel and collaboration with clients worldwide
The opportunity to share and deepen your technical expertise
Variety between developing training materials and training yourself
Directly contributing to the success of our clients and projects
Working in an experienced and enthusiastic team in an international environment

Requirements
Experience in the dredging industry (operational or technical) is essential. You speak and write fluent English; Dutch is a plus. You have a strong affinity for technology and knowledge transfer. You are sociable and have good communication skills, and enjoy leading a group. You are willing to travel internationally regularly. You can work independently and easily connect with clients and colleagues.

A good work/life balance with 40 vacation days for full-time employment and the option to buy or sell (additional) leave. The option to work from home with an expense allowance and/or flexible working (depending on the position). A mid-salary pension plan with good arrangements in the event of death, disability, or unemployment
