About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Technician/Setter to join their busy production team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth production processes, delivering high-quality moulded products, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and optimise production processes to ensure efficient machine performance.

Carry out tooling changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and tool trials.

Resolve machine-related production and quality issues promptly.

Maintain product quality in line with specifications, recording quality checks throughout shifts.

Assist colleagues, providing effective shift handovers and supporting team operations.

Operate fork trucks and manually move raw materials and finished products.

Minimise scrap levels and contribute to achieving optimum production targets.

Maintain housekeeping standards (5S) and a safe working environment.

Follow operating procedures, setting sheets, and company policies.

Report any breaches of works rules to the Production Manager immediately.

KPIs: Production downtime, scrap levels, quality complaints, machine efficiencies, and housekeeping.

About You

Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter.

Knowledge of plastics and material properties (PVC experience preferred).

Experience in the plastics industry desirable but not essential.

Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A self-motivated team player with strong communication and leadership skills.

Decisive, proactive, and flexible to business demands.

What We Offer

Competitive salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience).

23 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays).

30-minute paid break per shift.
