Lettings Officer, Swanage, permanent


Main purpose of job:

Ensure the smooth running of the Lettings Department which includes long lettings.
Working in a proactive way with the Directors to expand the Lettings Department and where possible increase/develop the number of properties let.

Main tasks of the job:

As required by a Director, you will be responsible for:
* Running the Lettings Department in an efficient and profitable way, in consultation with the Directors.
* Preparation and collation of information and marketing of letting properties.
* Dealing with queries from the general public regarding letting properties.
* In conjunction with our accountants, being responsible for maintaining the accounts relating to letting property.
* Maintain a working knowledge of values and factors that may affect Rental property in the Purbecks.
* Maintain the company's database and develop it as necessary in conjunction with the Directors.
* Ensure that the website is kept up to date.
* Advise the Directors of any issues that may affect the normal running of the business e.g. complaints/loss of clients etc.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties

We need you to have a reasonable amount of letting experience, (ideally at least 1 year), but we would be interested in anyone who wishes to develop their qualifications and experience in taking on this important role in our company.

£20,000 - Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.30 - Saturdays by rota but to be agreed with manager.
